Douglas Allen, Ph.D.


Plants hold the key to ensuring a sustainable future, with enough food, fuel and ample renewable resources for all. In addition, they clean water and soil and improve the quality of air that we breathe. We are working to develop more productive, resilient plants for a better future for generations to come.

Douglas Allen

Doug received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Purdue University, and prior to joining the Center as a Research Computational Biologist with the USDA he worked for the Archer Daniels Midland Company and the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center at Michigan State University.
